General Help
To get started, follow these steps:- Click on Configure in the Affirmator menu to display the Preferences window
- Click on the "Create a new Affirmation list" button
- Click on the "Add" button to add a new row to the table
- Double Click on the "Your message here" text
- Type a new Affirmation
- Click on the Save button and choose a location for your list
- The new Affirmation list appears in the Available lists display
- Select your new list and click the "Set Active" button
You can change the default appearance of all messages on the Default Settings page
You can customize individual messages by changing the View to Advanced on the List Editor's menu
You can mangage your lists on the Affirmator Lists page
Help is also available by clicking on the question mark icon in the bottom left corner of the Preferences window
Left Clicking on an Affirmation will close it. Right Clicking on it will keep it open for an hour unless you close it.
Some things to try
Set the Background Image Directory to your Photos root directory. Affirmator will use all of your images as the background for your Affirmations
Then set the Display Interval to 1 second and set the Display Time to something long like 5 minutes. Clicking on the image will close the current image and load the next
Change the Font and Text location to better fit your background images
Use the Constrain Proportions flag when you change the size of your background images
